Ingredients
1 box vanilla cake mix
1 box 3.4 ounce instant vanilla pudding mix
3 ripe bananas, mashed
3 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces whipped topping
1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
1 banana, sliced for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Mash the ripe bananas in a medium bowl until mostly smooth.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, instant vanilla pudding mix, mashed bananas, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
4. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
