1/2 teaspoon salt

3 cups old fashioned oats

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.

Notes

Do not overbake the cookies. Pull them from the oven when the centers still look slightly soft, because they will continue to set on the baking sheet and stay perfectly chewy.
