Ingredients
14 oz cream of coconut
13.5 oz coconut milk
12 oz evaporated milk
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 cup white rum
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
Cinnamon sticks for garnish, optional
Ground cinnamon for garnish, optional
Instructions
1. Add the cream of coconut, coconut milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt to a blender.
2. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
3. Pour in the white rum and blend again for a few seconds until fully combined.
4. Transfer the Coquito to a glass bottle, pitcher, or sealed jar.
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours so the drink becomes cold and the flavors meld together.
6. Shake or stir well before serving because the mixture may separate slightly as it chills.
7. Pour into small glasses and garnish with ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick if desired.
Notes
Do not skip chilling the Coquito long enough, because serving it too soon can make the texture feel thinner and the flavors less blended.
