For the Dough:

1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)

All-purpose flour (for dusting, if rolling out the dough)

For the Sauce & Toppings:

½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1215 slices pepperoni (or preferred toppings)

½ teaspoon dried oregano (optional)

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Optional Additions:

Cooked sausage, crumbled

Diced bell peppers

Sliced mushrooms

Black olives

Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray or oil.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and cut out 3-4 inch circles using a round cookie cutter or glass. Press each dough circle into a muffin cup.
  3. Add Sauce & Cheese: Spoon 1 tablespoon pizza sauce into each dough cup and spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Add Toppings: Place pepperoni, sausage, vegetables, or other toppings over the cheese. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder if desired.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
  6. Cool & Serve: Let the cupcakes cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the tin. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
  7. Enjoy! Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dips.
