4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions
1. Bake the pie crust if needed and let it cool completely.
2. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
3. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking until smooth.
4. Add the egg yolks and whisk until fully combined.
5. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy.
6. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter, vanilla extract, and semi-sweet chocolate until smooth.
7. Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and smooth the top.
8. Cover the surface gently and chill for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
