Description

Easy Date Snickers are a quick no-bake dessert that delivers everything you love in a homemade candy bar. Ingredients

12 Medjool dates

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped

1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt


Instructions

1. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise on one side and remove the pit, keeping the date intact so it can be stuffed.

2. Fill each date with a small spoonful of creamy peanut butter.

3. Sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts over the peanut butter and gently press them into the filling.

4. Arrange the stuffed dates on a parchment-lined tray and chill for 10 to 15 minutes.

5. Melt the dark chocolate chips with the coconut oil in short intervals, stirring until smooth.

6. Dip each stuffed date into the melted chocolate or spoon the chocolate over the top until fully coated.

7. Place the coated dates back on the tray and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

8. Chill for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set, then serve.

Notes

Do not overfill the dates with peanut butter, or the filling can slide out when you dip them in the melted chocolate.
