If you are looking for easy dinner ideas, quick seafood recipes, or crowd-pleasing grilled shrimp, this one delivers big flavor in very little time.

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 to 30 minutes.

2. Pat the shrimp dry and place them in a large bowl.

3. Add olive oil, melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.

4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers, piercing through both the thick and tail ends.

5. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the shrimp and press lightly so it sticks to the coating.

6. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

7. Cook the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and lightly charred.

8. Remove from the heat, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp or they will turn rubbery. Remove them from the heat as soon as they are opaque and gently curled.
