Ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon warm water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch salt
1 cup cold brew coffee
1/3 cup oat milk
2 tablespoons heavy cream or extra oat milk
1 cup ice
1 pinch ground cinnamon for topping, optional
Instructions
1. In a small bowl or jar, stir together the brown sugar, warm water, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until mostly dissolved.
2. Fill a tall glass with ice.
3. Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice.
4. Add the brown sugar cinnamon mixture and stir well.
5. Slowly pour in the oat milk.
6. In a small cup, whisk the heavy cream or extra oat milk until lightly frothy.
7. Spoon or pour the creamy topping over the drink.
8. Dust with extra cinnamon if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
Do not skip dissolving the brown sugar with warm water first, or the sweetener can sink to the bottom instead of blending evenly through the drink.
