Ingredients

8 celery stalks

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

3 green onions, sliced

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Wash the celery stalks, trim the ends, and cut them into serving-size pieces. Pat them dry well.

2. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until smooth.

3. Stir in half of the sliced green onions and half of the crumbled bacon.

4. Spoon or pipe the filling into the center of each celery piece.

5. Top with the remaining bacon, remaining green onions, and chopped parsley.

6. Chill for 15 to 20 minutes before serving for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

Do not fill the celery while it is still wet after washing, or the creamy filling can slide around and turn watery.
