Description

Crispy, golden, and packed with bold flavor, these Oven-Baked Dumplings with Peanut Sauce are an easy dinner idea that feels a little special without being complicated. Frozen dumplings bake up beautifully in the oven, then get finished with a creamy, savory peanut sauce that makes every bite irresistible. This easy recipe is perfect for quick dinner nights, appetizer spreads, snack boards, and casual food ideas when you want something fast, comforting, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

16 frozen dumplings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

3 to 4 tablespoons warm water

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

2 tablespoons green onions, sliced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and lightly grease a baking sheet or baking dish.

2. Arrange the frozen dumplings in a single layer and brush or drizzle them with olive oil.

3. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the dumplings are hot and lightly golden.

4. While the dumplings bake, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and warm water until smooth.

5. Add more warm water if needed until the sauce reaches a pourable consistency.

6. Transfer the baked dumplings to a serving plate and drizzle the peanut sauce over the top.

7. Finish with red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, green onions, and chopped parsley or cilantro.

8. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the pan, or the dumplings will steam instead of turning lightly crisp around the edges.
