Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup softened butter with the granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a thick dough forms.
6. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
8. Let the bars cool completely in the pan.
9. For the frosting, beat 1/2 cup softened butter with powdered sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
10. Add pink food coloring and mix until the color is even.
11. Spread the frosting over the cooled bars.
12. Top with Valentine’s sprinkles.
13. Slice into 16 bars and serve.
Notes
