  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Special K cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions
 

  • Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly. Set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Heat over medium, stirring frequently, until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in the peanut butter until smooth and fully combined.
  • Fold in the Special K cereal until evenly coated. Work quickly.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a spatula or wax paper.
  • Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread chocolate mixture over the bars and let set at room temperature or refrigerate.

Notes

Refrigerate for cleaner cuts. You can swap chocolate chips with dark or white chocolate.
