Instructions
Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly. Set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Heat over medium, stirring frequently, until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat.
Stir in the peanut butter until smooth and fully combined.
Fold in the Special K cereal until evenly coated. Work quickly.
Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a spatula or wax paper.
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Spread chocolate mixture over the bars and let set at room temperature or refrigerate.
Notes
Refrigerate for cleaner cuts. You can swap chocolate chips with dark or white chocolate.
