red onion, finely chopped

tomato, deseeded and diced

garlic, minced

lime, juiced (more to taste)

chopped fresh cilantro

jalapeño, finely minced (optional)
Salt, to taste
Instructions
Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a bowl. Mash to desired texture.
Stir in onion, tomato, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix gently.
Add salt to taste. Adjust lime juice as needed.
Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap pressed to surface and refrigerate.
Notes
Use plastic wrap directly on the surface to reduce browning. Best eaten fresh!
