Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in cheese and herbs.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, sour cream, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Transfer to loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake 45–50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Slice and serve.
Notes
Feel free to swap in Monterey Jack, Gruyère, or Swiss for the cheddar. Fresh thyme or rosemary are excellent alternatives to parsley.
