Ingredients 2 large chicken breasts or thighs 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning 3 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons butter 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine pasta 1 tablespoon olive oil 0.5 teaspoon salt 0.25 teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Pat chicken dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey and red pepper flakes. Simmer to thicken.
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving a small amount of pasta water.
Return chicken to the skillet, stir to coat with sauce, then add pasta and mix. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
For extra smoky flavor, use smoked paprika in your Cajun seasoning.
If reheating, add a splash of water or broth to revive the sauce.
